I’m so glad you’re here…
You’ve likely landed here because you’re carrying something heavy — and you're ready for change that goes deeper than just coping. You don’t need a clear story of trauma to begin this work. You just need to be tired of carrying it alone.
I’m a somatic trauma therapist who works with folks navigating complex trauma, attachment and relationship wounds, emotional overwhelm, and the exhaustion that comes from holding it together for too long.
I believe your symptoms make sense. That anxiety, burnout, shutdown and perfectionism aren’t flaws — they’re adaptations.
I believe healing happens when you stop fighting those parts of yourself and start listening to what they’re trying to say.
My approach
My approach is relational, experiential, and body-based — meaning we won’t just talk about your struggles; we’ll explore how they show up in your body, your relationships, and your inner world. I use Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support deep healing of trauma, attachment wounding, and nervous system dysregulation. I also draw from neuroscience, emotionally focused therapy and developmental trauma practices to meet your unique needs.
You might meet a younger part of yourself in a session, feel your shoulders ease up for the first time in months, or discover clarity about a pattern you’ve been stuck in for decades.
Clients often tell me they feel lighter, clearer, more at ease after our sessions.
My Background
I’ve always loved movement and nature — climbing, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding have been central parts of my life. Injuries to my shoulder and back became unexpected teachers, inviting me to slow down, get gentle with myself, and begin listening more closely to my body and emotions.
That’s when I found somatic experiencing, developmental trauma work, and animist practices — approaches that helped me shift long-held patterns and reconnect with a deeper sense of self and belonging. These experiences taught me compassion, curiosity, and the capacity to sit with uncertainty. I bring those same qualities into the therapy room. As a Highly Sensitive Person I know what it’s like to feel deeply — and how healing it can be to unlearn the idea that sensitivity is a flaw.
I spent over 15 years working in social and environmental non-profits — as a leader, facilitator, and community builder in BC and internationally. That background shapes my relational, systemic, and justice-informed lens. I’m a strong believer in science, good data, and best practices.
Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me singing in the shower, immersed in mystical practices, exploring the forest or water, traveling to new places, advocating for social change, or getting lost in a good novel.

My Values
CONNECTION
I bring warmth, compassion and kindness to our relationship so you can feel safe to share your vulnerability. Safe and healthy connections between individuals and in communities are transformative.
REST
In a world that values productivity and busyness, rest is an act of rebellion. Healing isn’t just about enduring pain, and we can’t force it to happen on a schedule. We’ll look for moments of ease and fun, time for integration, and capacity for you to set the boundaries that protect your energy.
CURIOSITY
Playful curiosity guides us as we learn and grow, finding the ‘aha’ moments that make your path unique. We steer away from “should” and “shouldn’t” to explore new possibilities.
ACCEPTANCE
Accepting our shadows and the grey areas of our lives can be liberating. We find the valuable parts of you that have been deemed ‘unacceptable” and shower them with compassion so they can stop holding you back
RESPECT
I am dedicated to decolonizing mental health and healing spaces. I understand that for centuries and still today, mental health systems have not been safe and caring places for BIPOC and LGBTQ2+ people to seek help. As a cis-hetero white/Jewish female, uninvited descendant of immigrants, I continue to do my own work to decolonize myself and live and practice through an anti-oppression framework.
